Cream – Disraeli Gears

This album was recorded in 1967 at Atlantic Studios in New York. This was to give the sound of the album some influence. The name of the album was coined by a roadie named Mick Turner, who coined the phrase by mixing the name of a bike gear with British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli.

Nat King Cole – The Christmas Song

Originally released in 1960 as The Magic of Christmas. It was later re-released in 1963 and titled The Christmas Song. This was due to the immense popularity of the single The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire). The Christmas Song was origianlly recorded in 1946 by the King Cole Trio, it was recorded for the 1963 album release and is one of the best seeling Christmas songs of all time.

Beck – Morning phase

Morning Phase is the twelfth studio album by Beck, released on February 21, 2014. Often described as a companion piece to his 2002 album Sea Change, it features a similar melancholic and atmospheric sound, blending folk, rock, and orchestral elements. The album received critical acclaim and won Album of the Year at the 57th Grammy Awards in 2015. It draws influence from classic singer-songwriters like Nick Drake, Neil Young, and Bob Dylan, as well as orchestral elements from Brian Wilson and Scott Walker. It took Beck several years to make this album due to a spinal injury.

The album follows the story of Nikki, a drug addict who gets brainwashed into becoming an assassin for a secret revolutionary organization led by the enigmatic Dr. X. Throughout the album, Nikki battles manipulation, control, love, and betrayal, ultimately leading to his downfall. It is the third studio album from Queensrÿche, released May, 1988.
